"An Absolute Gem – Felt Like Family!"

This is hands down the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. From the second I walked in, the staff went out of their way to make me feel at home. The common areas have an incredible, inclusive social vibe that makes it so easy to meet people, especially as a solo traveler. The rooms were spotless, the beds were sturdy and comfortable, and the fast Wi-Fi was perfect for getting some work done. The location is unbeatable—close to everything but still tucked away enough for a great night's sleep. Huge thanks to the team for an unforgettable stay. I'll definitely be back!

"Genuinely One of the Best Hostel Experiences"

My stay at Himalayan Alpha Hostel was genuinely one of the best hostel experiences I’ve had. A special thanks to Himangi for always responding patiently, reassuring me, and making me feel comfortable even before I arrived. Once I checked in, her warmth and friendly conversations made the place feel less like a hostel and more like home. A big shout-out to Sarthak as well—he is one of the kindest, most humble, and most helpful people I’ve met. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms well maintained, the rooftop café had a wonderful vibe, and the overall atmosphere of the hostel was amazing.

"Mind-blowing Staff & Cleanliness"

The staff at Himalayan Alpha are absolutely mind-blowing. Everyone was extremely respectful, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The food at the in-house café was also really good—we tried the veg thali, paneer grilled sandwich, corn salad, and cold coffee. Himangi, the property manager, was exceptionally helpful and engaging. Sheetal, the front-desk manager, gave us such a cheerful welcome and guided us about local sightseeing. I also celebrated my birthday at Alpha, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best birthdays I've ever celebrated!

"Cozy, Happenning & Affordable Stay"

First of all.. Very caring and understanding staff and faculty.. Comfortable beddings for affordable prices.. If travelling solo do book a room Or hostel which was a fantastic experience—you meet new people, new vibes. So yes, looking for a simple, cosy and happening stay do book it.. It's right in the McLeodganj center!
